Motor of belt grinder as well as drive looks good. Some parts of construction are rusty and not fits very well … After some needed “updates” it should work I think.

Product looks great. Used it a little so only time will tell but I’m really impressed with the build quality and the motor seems strong. Runs up to 5000 rpm’s

The machine is for Sunday handymen. Most of the body is made of stainless steel and some are made of metal. The base is aluminum alloy 5mm thickness. Manufacturing quality is poor because there is a lot of geometric defect. Even a tap in a hole is not straight. I can do a lot of geometric correction if I want to do a good job with this machine. There are many vibration in stockings engine diet and much less in top diet. I think it’s because of the wheel is poorly balanced. Despite packaging being good, there is a screw is crooded. There is rust on the metal parts.

Good machine. Little cared for in the finishing but for the price it is fine. All steel used in the machine is amagnetic.

Overall I am pleased with the item but have two disappointments.
The three belts supplied were all 80 grit and not the range as advertised. That meant I was unable to do meaningful sharpening until additional belts were ordered and delivered.
The platen for the vertical positioned belt is not square to the belt in all axes and will require modification of the mounting lug
The motor is quiet and accurately controlled.

this is how it was “delivered” I was not at home and only arrived back late at night. I have a ring doorbell which he did not even use. just put it there for anyone to grab in the rain.

Pulley were made from aluminum, the rest is pretty good for this price.
