NOT hiking pants. The stitching between black and green fabric feels very gnasty on your legs. You will need base layer of tights to keep from the seams rubbing your leg raw.
Do NOT attempt to do a lot of walking in these.
The fit seems right. I orderd according to measurements, for a 30 waist, and it fits the same as any 30 inch waist pants would.
These are not low waist pants like current fashion. They come way up on your torso, like my grandfather would wear.
The crotch area feels busy, I can feel the fabric between my legs at crotch, not ideal, so overall, decent pants but do not feel good and not for hiking.
I like that the fabric has a little stretch to it.
The black on knees is not an abrasion resistant fabric, just a thin black fabric.
This might look like Bear grills hiking pants but is NOT

I asked for a bad size because of people’s comments. I asked for 3xl 1,81 and 80k because three 3xl would be for one person. Of 1.83 95k. Material is fine as smoking paper.

Purchased a pair recently and was so pleased with them for the price i purchased a second pair, nice and light excellent for winter bike riding, sizing is a bit hit and miss.

very very thin fabric almost paper, I doubt it can withstand hooks with branches, in addition the very small sizes XL equal to one m in Europe.
