Trying to find a trench coat that has all functional and traditional features intact is incredibly difficult. Sleeve buckles, rain cape, self-belt, buttonable storm flap, epaulettes, calf-length drape, and 100% natural cloth. Unless you buy from certain luxury makers, at least 2, if not all, traditional details will be missing.
I ordered one as soon as it was available, this one is definitely my favorite of the ones i own for 3-season use. I also added on a couple of gold military pins to the epaulettes to emphasize the trench coat’s military origins.
Two annoyances: i wish the belt was shorter for buckling instead of tying (much longer than needed for a small asian man), and that the throat latch was not as far back to be used more easily (although, the latch location is true to historical designs).
Overall, i would highly recommend the coat. It is a premium product that is very hard to find an equivalent elsewhere, especially at this price.
